A payment service that automatically drafts your monthly rent payment from your checking account.

Why are people signing up for RentDirect?

RentDirect makes your monthly rent payment easy and less time consuming. No more checks, stamps and trips to the mailbox. Better yet, your payments will never be late which helps you avoid a $50 late fee.

Is there a fee for this service?

No, Middlesex Management does not charge for this service. However, standard fees still apply if a payment is returned by your bank for any reason.

How do I notify management of my intention to move out?

You must provide Middlesex Management with written notice 30 days prior to your lease expiration. For more information about the move-out process, visit our Move-Out Help Center.

How do I sign up for RentDirect?

Simply complete the ACH Authorization Form , attach a voided check and return both to the rental office or mail to:

When will the payment be deducted from my bank account?

The payment will be deducted from your account on the 1st of each month.

How much money is deducted from my account each month?

Only your monthly rent and nothing else is deducted from your bank account monthly.

What prevents Middlesex Management from accessing my account whenever it wants to or seeing how much money I have in my account?

It is against the law for Middlesex Management to withdraw funds in excess of what is approved by the tenant. In addition, an ACH agreement does not give Middlesex Management authorization to obtain specific account information such as balances from your bank.

Will I still receive a monthly bill from Middlesex Management?

Yes, billing will continue as usual. However, this bill is for informational purposes only and should be retained for your records.

Can I change the bank account I use or cancel my participation in RentDirect with Middlesex Management?

Yes, by sending a written request within 15 days of the 1st of any month to our offices at

Once the cancellation request is forwarded you are responsible for remitting your monthly rent payment.

I have a roommate and we would like to split payments between 2 bank accounts, what should we do?

Each roommate should complete a separate ACH authorization form listing their own bank account information and how much each tenant will pay.
